Sky Blue

Liquid Watercolour is a range of transparent, bright liquid colours, formulated with a selection of colourants dispersed in water and a solution of gum arabic. The shades are very luminous and highly intense, they do not settle and are miscible with one another, spreading easily without leaving brush marks. The colours in Liquid Watercolour are very versatile, and can be used in watercolour techniques, graphic design, advertising and illustration, calligraphy, technical pens, for dyeing wood or as a colourant for pastes. The watercolours are “acid free” and can therefore be used in scrapbooking techniques and for photograph retouching. Due to their viscosity of 25 cPs, the colours are perfect for airbrushing as they do not contain pigments or resins that could clog the airbrush valves. 

For the range, the most intense colourants have been selected; however, no colourant is as lightfast as a pigment and therefore it is recommended not to expose the colours to direct sunlight without prior protection with Varnish or Acrylic Medium. All the colours can be mixed and combined with our mediums and textures. Liquid Watercolour is produced in accordance with European Safety and Environmental Regulations (REACH protocol).
