Thick Black Mud

Weathering FX is a range of water-based products with which the modeller can reproduce on models and dioramas the effects of exposure to the elements and nature. The references have been designed to faithfully represent the effects of nature and its environment, the dirt that can affect vehicles and elements such as spills or fuel stains; splashes of mud or lichen, covering a rock; dampness and verdigris, covering wood; oil stains on cans and grass flattened by the tracks of a tank, still adhered to its links. According to our choice, we can realistically set the scene for a vehicle, integrate it into the environment and tell a whole story about its operational life. It can be used directly on the surface. All effects dry very quickly allowing the following processes to continue with the exception of the thick muds which, depending on the volume applied, will require a longer drying time. The tools can be cleaned with water.

Safety: Always follow the information on the product label. Contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one, reaction mass of 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (3:1). May produce an allergic reaction.

Presentation: Thick Mud is available in 40 ml/1.35 fl oz jars.


Use recommendations: Thick Black Mud is a very dark shade typical of terrain very rich in vegetable substrate, similar to peat, as is commonly observed in wooded and humid areas of northern Europe.
