Oil Splashes

Weathering FX is a range of water-based products with which the modeller can reproduce on models and dioramas the effects of exposure to the elements and nature. The references have been designed to faithfully represent the effects of nature and its environment, the dirt that can affect vehicles and elements such as spills or fuel stains; mud splashes or lichen covering a rock; moisture and verdigris covering wood; oil stains on drums and grass crushed by the tracks of a tank, still adhered to its links. Depending on our choice, we can realistically set a vehicle in its surroundings, integrate it into the environment and tell an entire story about its operational life. It can be applied directly onto the surface. All effects dry very quickly, allowing subsequent processes to continue, with the exception of dense muds which, depending on the amount applied, will require a longer drying time. The tools can be cleaned with water.


Safety: Always follow the information on the product label. Contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one, reaction mass of 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (3:1). May produce an allergic reaction.

Usage recommendations: Reproduce the blue-black hue that we can observe in lubricants and heavy oils on drums in the cargo box of a truck, the circular traces on the ground, the greasy stains on the ejector of flamethrowers, both infantry and tanks.
