Fluorescent colours belong to a type of paint formulated with fluorescent pigments, capable of absorbing ultraviolet light and re-emitting it as visible light. This phenomenon produces an apparent brightness far superior to that of conventional pigments, generating extremely intense and vibrant colours.

In miniature painting, fluorescent paints are mainly used to create high-intensity visual effects that simulate energy sources or luminous elements. They are especially useful for representing OSL (Object Source Lighting), magical energies, plasma-charged weapons, glowing runes, bright eyes, screens or technological indicators, as well as radiation, neon or toxic substance effects. Thanks to their high saturation, they allow for very strong contrasts and spectacular lighting effects even with thin layers of paint.

Fluorescent Color Set brings together the eight fluorescent references from the Game Color line in a unified format, offering a comprehensive solution for creating luminous, energetic and highly saturated effects on fantasy, sci-fi and wargame miniatures.

For maximum brightness, apply them over a white primer or base colour.

You can mix the shades together to achieve different colour nuances. You can also mix them with Game Color paints to achieve maximum luminosity effects or apply them as a filter to increase colour intensity.

The colours are formulated for use with both brush and airbrush, without the need for additional thinning.
