Dark Wet Grime

Weathering FX is a range of water-based products with which the modeller can reproduce on models and dioramas the effects of exposure to the elements and nature. The references have been designed to faithfully represent the effects of nature and its surroundings, the dirt that can affect vehicles and elements such as spills or fuel stains; mud splashes or lichen, covering a rock; dampness and verdigris, covering wood; oil stains on drums and grass crushed by the tracks of a tank, still attached to its links. Depending on our choice, we will be able to set a vehicle in a realistic environment, integrate it into the setting and tell an entire story about its operational life. It can be applied directly onto the support. All effects dry very quickly, allowing the following processes to continue, with the exception of the thick muds which, depending on the volume applied, will require a longer drying time. The tools can be cleaned with water.


Safety: Always follow the information on the product label. Contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one, reaction mass of 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (3:1). May produce an allergic reaction.

Presentation: Environment Effects is available in 40 ml/1.35 fl oz bottles.


Use recommendations: Moisture generates mould and verdigris on wood, tree bark, rocks and walls, piers and submerged posts, with variations in tone. Slimy Grime Dark recreates the darkest tone, a blackish green hue.
